Sorry it’s been a little while! I’ve been busy with reupholstering a scroll bench (more to come on that as soon as I get the legs and finish it), plus I’ve started a new project…redoing our half-bath!
We bought a new construction house and it gorgeous but some of the design elements are just plain awful. For example, the builder-grade towel racks and toilet paper holders? Ours are a disgusting off-white color. If they were white I wouldn’t mind so much but our towel racks, toilet paper holders, toilets, vanities, and tubs are the gross off-white. Bleh!
So I decided to make the bathrooms prettier by getting rid of the towel racks and toilet paper holders and replacing them with brushed nickel fixtures, slapping some paint on the walls and throwing in some great decor items.
Here’s my idea for the half-bath:
We also plan to add some other U.K.-inspired decor like a Beatles album. Oh, and I just finished painting the walls a very light grey color. What do you think?
